
David Blow is an award-winning journalist turned journalism professor at Vermont State University at Castleton.
From 1990 to 2005 he served as a reporter and editor at The Post- Star in Glens Falls, N.Y. and covered a variety of topics including murders, local government meetings and the occasional brush with celebrities like Jerry Springer and Robert Redford.
He is a graduate of Castleton State College and SUNY Empire State and resides in Queensbury with his wife of 32 years. He has two daughters, Kirsti, 27, and Sarah, 24.
Blow still writes periodically for The Post-Star and occasionally appears in the Rutland Herald and magazines including Adirondack Life. He still loves to hear and tell stories and now tries to channel that love to his students.
